Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver primary care services in a Family Practice environment to a diverse patient panel
- Provide care to a patient population that is approximately 75 percent Spanish speaking, supported by translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants
- Treat and manage patients with a high proportion of Medical/Medicaid coverage
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
- Ensure care aligns with the expectations of FQHC, Rural Health, or IHS settings
- Maintain up-to-date licensure, including an active California DEA and furnishing license
Additional Information
- Locum tenens experience required
- Recent clinical experience in a Family Practice setting is mandatory; Internal Medicine and Pediatrics experience alone will not be accepted
- Must possess active California Nurse Practitioner license, California DEA, and furnishing license
- Required board certification: Family Medicine
- Experience with FQHC/Rural Health/IHS settings preferred
- Please confirm any anticipated time off prior to assignment submission
