Join a mission-driven team in scenic Northern California! We’re seeking a compassionate and credentialed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for an ongoing outpatient locum assignment in Eureka, CA. This is a Monday–Friday, 8a–5p schedule with no call, serving a diverse patient mix (peds + adults). Providers with FM-only backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Rate: $122/hr (1099)
Schedule: M–F, 8a–5p 18 patients/day minimum
Setting: 100% outpatient No call
Start: Ongoing need Decisions made within 7–14 days
Scope: Family Medicine with some Chronic Pain Management
Charting: EMR 72-hour chart closure required
Qualifications
BLS Certification
Board Certified or Truly BE (within 5 years of residency)
Credentialing Timeframe: 30–90 days (avg. 6 weeks with timely submission)
Required Immunizations (prior to start):
2022–2023 Flu Vaccine
TB Status/X-Ray (within 90 days of start)
Positive MMR, Hep B, and Varicella Zoster Titers or full immunization series
Tdap (within last 10 years)

- Family Medicine Expertise: Proficient in outpatient care for both pediatric and adult populations.
- Chronic Pain Management: Comfortable managing chronic pain cases within primary care scope.
- Preventive & Acute Care: Skilled in routine checkups, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
- Charting & EMR Proficiency: Able to close charts within 72 hours; familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
