Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner

Required Skills:
- Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to practice independently in Massachusetts
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work intermittent weekends
- Experience with inpatient psychiatric patients preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
- Knowledge of working with a diverse age range (from age 10 to elderly)
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Familiarity with protocols for inpatient mental health care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
- Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses
- Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency protocols
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site in an inpatient psychiatric unit
- Willingness to work intermittent weekend shifts
- Current TB testing and immunization records
- Willingness to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
