Family Nurse Practitioner

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing exceptional care within an inpatient psychiatric setting. This vital role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a supportive environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate FNP to work intermittently during weekends, with an expected engagement of approximately one year, starting December 1, 2025. Required Skills:
  • Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Ability to practice independently in Massachusetts
  • Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work intermittent weekends
  • Experience with inpatient psychiatric patients preferred

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
  • Knowledge of working with a diverse age range (from age 10 to elderly)
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Familiarity with protocols for inpatient mental health care

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
  • Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses
  • Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency protocols

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site in an inpatient psychiatric unit
  • Willingness to work intermittent weekend shifts
  • Current TB testing and immunization records
  • Willingness to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

Compensation for this role is $1.00 per hour, reflecting the temporary nature of the assignment.
