Employment Type: Full Time (Onsite)
Schedule: 40 hours per week - most likely will start as Tuesday-Friday 10-hour days
Position Overview:
An experienced and passionate Nurse Practitioner is sought to join a high-performance health and wellness team focused on preventive, personalized, and performance-based medicine. This position involves providing comprehensive primary and urgent care to an active adult population, utilizing diagnostic insights to support optimal recovery, fueling, and long-term health.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a data-driven, collaborative environment, and possess a strong interest in sports medicine, performance optimization, and lifestyle-based care.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose, and manage acute and subacute conditions (e.g., upper respiratory infections, minor injuries, dermatologic conditions).

Deliver evidence-based medical recommendations aligned with each patient's performance, nutrition, and recovery goals.

Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic and laboratory tests, including biomarker panels, metabolic assessments, and hormone evaluations.

Prescribe medications and therapies to support recovery, performance, and long-term health.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians, dietitians, and health coaches, to provide integrated and personalized patient care.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, workflows, and care pathways to enhance quality and consistency of care delivery.

Stay up to date on preventive health practices, longevity medicine, and emerging research in performance optimization.
Qualifications:

Education: Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license with current DEA registration. Independent practice authorization (103 or 104 NP) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years of post-training clinical experience required (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Sports Medicine preferred).

Strong background in diagnostic evaluation, laboratory interpretation, and evidence-based treatment planning.

Prior experience working with athletes, health-conscious, or high-performance populations is highly desirable.

No on-call or weekend work at this time (subject to future change).
