We are seeking a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner for a 105-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with potential flexibility to start as late as Jan 2, 2026, and features a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. The provider will work primarily independently, supported by a medical assistant, and will manage both acute and chronic cases within a family practice setting.


Job Details

  • Location: Oregon
  • Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 (may be moved to Jan 2, 2026, if 30-day notice is honored)
  • LOA: 105 days
  • Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday (some days 7am–5pm, others 8am–6pm)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension
  • Perform procedures such as casting, IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, biopsies, and toenail removal
  • Vasectomy procedures are optional based on provider comfort
  • Deliver patient care with support from an assigned medical assistant each day
  • Maintain flexibility and communicate regarding comfort with specific procedures


Additional Information

  • Must be board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Oregon state license required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Provider should be comfortable working mostly independently
  • Some flexibility offered regarding procedural requirements based on provider experience
