Now Hiring: Nurse Practitioner – $95/Hour | New Mexico Department of Health - SE Heights
We’re seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to join the team at NMDOH SE Heights.
Pay and Details:
- Hourly Rate: $95/hour
- MUST HAVE NM STATE LICENSE
Job Responsibilities
Taking patient histories and performing physical examinations
Conducting routine preventive health screenings and ensuring appropriate follow-up
Prescribing or administering medications or other treatments
Referring patients for more specialized care
Assists management and other staff in establishing the clinic to include developing and implementing clinical protocols and procedures, workflows, and templates for electronic medical records among other activities.
Supports the evaluation of the pilot project by participating in quality improvement efforts that include providing informal and formal feedback, offering and implementing recommendations for improvement, and participating in other quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Active NM License as APRN or CNP (Required)
3–5 years of NP experience in primary care
Experience working with refugee populations and with translation services preferred but not required
BLS/ACLS certified
DEA registration (preferred or willing to obtain)
Working Hours
Start Date: Targeting ASAP – (4-6 weeks onboarding)
Contract Length: Min. 6 months
