Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of recent urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Board certification through NCCPA, Family NP Certification, or equivalent
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system and experience with minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation
- Ability to assess and treat both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
- Strong soft skills, including excellent communication, bedside manner, and teamwork
- BLS certification required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as the sole provider in the center
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric urgent care
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
- Prior experience working in high-volume settings (up to 40 patients per day)
- Familiarity with offsite supervision protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- 1+ year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work with EPIC EMR system, completing a modified training schedule before independent shifts
- Availability to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of your residence
- Access to reliable transportation for location coverage
- No travel or lodging reimbursement; only mileage allowed
- Ability to pass credentialing and onboarding processes, including Medicare enrollment
