Experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner needed for a locum tenens position in Massachusetts. This 60-day assignment at a walk-in clinic begins on 01/05/2026, covering Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with bread and butter family practice in a walk-in clinic setting, working alongside other providers. NextGen experience is preferred. This role offers the opportunity for extension and requires an active Massachusetts license. The provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care, managing walk-in patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a walk-in clinic setting
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Manage acute and chronic conditions
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using NextGen EMR
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
