Primary Care Physician (FM/IM) or NP/PA – Outpatient – Locums
About the Opportunity:
Valley Community Healthcare, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a Primary Care provider (MD/DO or NP/PA) for an outpatient locums opportunity. You’ll be joining a large, supportive team in either North Hollywood or North Hills, CA, delivering care to a diverse patient population, primarily Spanish-speaking.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP (credentialing ~4 weeks)
- Assignment Type: Locums (3-month minimum, option to extend)
- Rate: $80 - $115/ hr
- Work alongside 40+ providers across multiple specialties (FM, IM, BH, Peds, Women’s Health, Dental, Optometry)
- Dedicated MA team for PCPs
- Large, two-story clinic with strong support staff
- NextGen EMR system
- Opportunity to serve an underserved population and make a meaningful impact
Job Responsibilities
Patient Population: All ages, primarily Spanish-speaking
Clinical Focus: Primary Care, chronic disease management, diabetes car
Qualifications
Board Certified (exceptions considered with explanation)
Active CA license preferred (in progress acceptable)
DEA & BLS required
Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
Working Hours
Mon/Wed/Fri: 8am–5pm
Tue/Thu: 8am–8pm
Sat: 8am–12pm
Call: 1 week every 7–8 weeks (avg. <5 patients during call week)
