We're excited to announce that we are looking for compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioners to join us at the Warm Springs Indian Health Service Clinic in beautiful Warm Springs, Oregon! This is a Full Time Contract Role. If you have a background in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Clinics, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on weekends and holidays.
  • Long-term contract and locum opportunities.
  • Previous experience as a Traveler and previous IHS experience is a plus
  • Can work on any US - NP license, from any state
  • We’re looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience working with both adults and children.

What You’ll Do:

Provide excellent Nurse Practitioner services in our friendly family clinic five days a week, focusing on improving health for American Indian and Alaska Native patients.- Be part of a supportive team that welcomes patients of all ages.- Conduct patient interviews and examinations, review medical history, and perform necessary tests to provide primary care.- Offer treatment and referrals based on your evaluations.- Provide valuable guidance and education to patients, families, and our community about health care.- Prescribe medications and necessary tests using radiology and laboratory services.- Familiarize yourself with the IHS formulary, ensuring your prescriptions meet IHS guidelines.- Collaborate in ongoing quality improvement efforts to deliver the best possible care.- Strive to provide exceptional family medicine services.- Follow all IHS infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone.- Respect and uphold the rights of our patients, ensuring their personal dignity is always maintained.- Use the Patient Referred Care (PRC) process for referrals, which will be reviewed according to established guidelines.

Qualifications

2 years of experience as a Family, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Required
Must be certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Family Practice - preferred
Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Must be Board Eligible or Certified
Familiar with Computer EMR systems
DEA
Must have current BLS, ACLS
Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
Must be a US Citizen living primarily in the United States
