Overview:
We are seeking qualified Physician Assistants with a minimum of 12 months of experience to support urgent and family medicine clinics within a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. The role requires independent practice, demonstrating clinical proficiency in adult and pediatric care, and the ability to perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation. Successful candidates will work closely with support staff and will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient care using EPIC EMR. This position offers a meaningful chance to contribute to community health initiatives while expanding your professional skill set.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months clinical experience as a PA or NP in urgent care or family medicine.
  • Board Certification appropriate to specialty (NCCPA, NP Boards, or Family NP Certification).
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR charting and documentation.
  • Ability to independently see and treat all patients, including pediatrics (6 months+) and adults.
  • Strong soft skills for effective communication with patients, support staff, and supervising physicians.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to perform minor procedures (I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, etc.).
  • Ability to work within a 65-mile radius from home.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with multiple locations or flexibility to support various sites.
  • Prior experience in medical procedures beyond basic care.
  • Additional certifications relevant to emergency or urgent care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • At least 12 months of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice settings.
  • Current and active certification in primary care or urgent care specialty areas.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to use EMR for all patient visits (Epic preferred).
  • Completed clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding before first solo shift.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, as the supervising physician is provided remotely.
  • No travel reimbursement available; mileage reimbursement only.
