Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Acute Care

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our urgent care team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to our communities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work independently, managing both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) with a diverse range of urgent care cases. The ideal candidates will demonstrate clinical excellence, adaptability, and a positive attitude, embodying our culture of compassion and professionalism.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent care or similar setting
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR system and ability to navigate efficiently
  • Ability to independently evaluate and treat all patients as the sole provider in the center
  • Valid board certification (MD/DO/PA/NP), BLS certification, NC DEA license, and PA Family Nurse Practitioner Certification or Physician Assistant Boards
  • Strong soft skills, including excellent communication, bedside manner, and collaboration skills with support staff and patients
  • Ability to maintain high patient throughput while providing compassionate care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience performing common urgent care procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and other minor procedures
  • Ability to work within a supportive team environment and adapt to multiple site locations within approximately 60 miles of residence
  • Prior experience with Epic training and documentation in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
  • At least 12 months of hands-on urgent care or emergency medicine experience
  • Current, active licensure and certifications in good standing

Other Requirements:
  • Must participate in mandatory EMR and onboarding training sessions scheduled on set Wednesdays prior to first solo shift
  • No travel reimbursement; mileage reimbursement available within local radius
  • Ability to pass clinical screening and credentialing process prior to scheduling
  • Willingness to support multiple locations within the specified radius
