Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (Family NP or Adult NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their student health clinic team on a part-time basis. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to students in a campus-based health center that offers both free and low-cost services.
Job Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary provider in the clinic, delivering direct patient care
* Assess, diagnose, and treat minor illnesses and injuries
* Provide reproductive and sexual health services, including counseling and testing
* Manage mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia
* Support immunization administration and smoking cessation programs
* Conduct 8-10 patient visits per day, with appointment lengths ranging from 20-60 minutes
* Utilize NextGen EMR for documentation and charting
* Collaborate as needed with the medical director, who is available by phone and can serve as a collaborating physician for PAs
Qualifications
* Active State License
* 2 years of Experience
Working Hours
* 3 consistent days per week between Monday and Thursday
* Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills
* Prior experience in primary care, urgent care, or college health preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
