Looking for full time, Family Nurse Practitioner for practice in Oglethorpe, Georgia. Extremely competitive pay and benefits package. Great work life balance, in a great community. Oglethorpe is a medium sized city, with all needed amenities, restaurants, etc. but still offers a small-town feel. Very close to many larger cities - Vienna, Perry, Americus and Montezuma.
Job Responsibilities
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and preventive care plans, including immunizations, screenings, and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Promote health literacy and support patients and families in managing their health and wellness.
