RNFA certification required for NP's.

Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Provider to provide perioperative medicine care and perform selective medical services in the Surgery Navigation clinic under the direction of practice physicians in Wilmington, NC. Our expert clinicians provide the latest best practice as specialists in the field of perioperative medicine and surgical optimization. No nights/weekends. No call required.

Wilmington is a coastal community bordered by the Cape Fear River to the West and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Its natural beauty adds to its appeal for retirees, vacationers, and film makers. Wilmington is rich in history with a thriving downtown. Our downtown includes retail shops and a variety of restaurants.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, required.
  • Experience: One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current PA license in appropriate state, required.
    • NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
