A family practice clinic in central Washington is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a rural, community-focused setting. The role offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while working in collaboration with a supportive team. Job Responsibilities

Deliver full-scope primary care services to patients of all ages

Diagnose and treat both chronic and acute medical conditions, as well as minor injuries

Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays, and other studies

Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans

Educate patients and families about prevention, treatment, and self-care

Participate in clinic-wide health promotion activities and community outreach

Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately using EMR systems

Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and staff to coordinate patient care plans

Refer patients to specialists when clinically appropriate

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold compliance with medical regulations

Participate in practice decisions and clinical policy development

Qualifications

Required:
Active Washington State RN and ARNP licenses (with prescriptive authority), required by start date
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification

Preferred:
Previous experience in family medicine or primary care
Willingness to work in a rural setting with a high degree of autonomy

Working Hours

Full-Time
Day shift
10-hour shifts
Typical clinic hours: Monday–Friday

Minimal call responsibilities

Skills

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic ability

Excellent patient education and communication skills

Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently

Competence in preventative medicine and chronic disease management

Ability to work with culturally and economically diverse populations

Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
