Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license for Texas
  • Proven experience in general medicine or primary care
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to protocols
  • Competency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification in ACLS or BLS
  • Previous experience with urgent care or outpatient clinics
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
  • At least 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine or related fields
  • Prior experience in locum or temporary healthcare roles is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Must possess or obtain Texas Nurse Practitioner license and authorized prescriptive authority
  • Ability to obtain BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible weekends
  • Must pass background check and credentialing processes
  • Active adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • No travel required beyond local assignments

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00
