Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license for Texas
- Proven experience in general medicine or primary care
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to work independently and adhere to protocols
- Competency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in ACLS or BLS
- Previous experience with urgent care or outpatient clinics
- Knowledge of chronic disease management
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- At least 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine or related fields
- Prior experience in locum or temporary healthcare roles is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must possess or obtain Texas Nurse Practitioner license and authorized prescriptive authority
- Ability to obtain BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible weekends
- Must pass background check and credentialing processes
- Active adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- No travel required beyond local assignments
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00
