The ideal candidate will work varying 8-hour shifts across Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services, including management of acute and chronic conditions such as coughs/flus, hypertension, and diabetes, as well as conducting physicals. The position requires proficiency in Epic software and an active New Mexico nursing license. Responsibilities include handling both scheduled appointments and walk-ins, offering a diverse and dynamic work environment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
- Manage acute and chronic conditions including coughs, flus, hypertension, and diabetes
- Conduct physical examinations and health screenings
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Utilize Epic software for patient management and record-keeping
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Handle both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients
- Stay updated on the latest primary care practices and treatments
