- Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks

- Other Details: This Family Nurse Practitioner opportunity is based in an outpatient ambulatory community health center and is set to start as soon as the provider is credentialed, ideally within 4 weeks (exceptions made for providers previously employed by Sea Mar). The initial contract is for 3 months with the possibility of extension. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week with an 8-hour workday and a 1-hour unpaid lunch. The provider will see up to 16 patients per day across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics, and should be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. The clinic offers full support staff, including dedicated MAs, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and most locations have onsite pediatricians and administrators. The EMR is EPIC, and procedures include injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. Providers are expected to begin patient care by day 3 after a 1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation. Requirements include active board certification, an active Washington State medical license and DEA (non-licensed candidates will not be considered), and a minimum of 2 years’ FNP experience with face-to-face patient contact within the past year. A clean background with no malpractice history is mandatory. Candidates must be COVID-19 and flu vaccinated. All hours are billable, and orientation is included in those hours.
