Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams
- Knowledge of veterans' health assessment protocols
- Familiarity with federal healthcare regulations
- Certification in relevant specialties (e.g., family practice, internal medicine)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in military or veteran healthcare settings is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must have own office location within Alaska with reliable internet access
- Ability to work on a PRN basis, including optional half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts
- Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding promptly
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved
- Travel and certification reimbursements available when applicable
