Required Skills:
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
- Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations
- Knowledge of veteran healthcare requirements
- Familiarity with administrative documentation and report submission
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prior experience conducting assessments in a government or military healthcare context is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Own a private office space within the specified areas (Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, Ely)
- Reliable internet and access to necessary evaluative tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including half-day and full-day shifts
- No travel reimbursements for certifications or portal training; local candidates only
