Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary care services in an outpatient setting
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and other therapeutic treatments
- Educate patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with NYS regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care programs
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active Nurse Practitioner License in the State of New York
- Experience in primary care preferred, but new graduates will be considered
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
