Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across NH within your own office location within a 50-mile radius.
- Perform interview-based assessments and physical exams, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete administrative reporting efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with a team committed to excellence and veteran support.
Required Skills:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire.
- Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic care.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to perform exams independently and adhere to standardized procedures.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience conducting Compensation & Pension exams.
- Knowledge of veteran healthcare regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical documentation and reporting software.
- Comfort working independently within a designated geographic area.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN or higher).
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience with physical assessments and interview-based evaluations.
Other Requirements:
- Own a dedicated office within a 50-mile radius of NH locations.
- Be available for scheduled assessments on specified days for each location (Lincoln and Lebanon, NH).
- Ability to work on a PRN basis, completing exams that typically last 4-8 hours.
- Willingness to complete required training and administrative follow-up.
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved.
- Local candidates only; travel is included in the pay rate.
- Starting date: February 2, 2026.
- Hourly pay rate of $402.00 with flat rates for half-day ($600) and full-day ($1200) shifts, plus a one-time $650 training bonus.
