Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine NH

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide essential general medicine services, including Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, across New Hampshire. This role offers the flexibility of PRN scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's heroes.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in applicable state
  • Proven experience in general medicine or similar clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of interview-based assessments and basic physical exam procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently within established protocols
  • Proficiency in documenting exam findings accurately and efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with veterans’ health assessments
  • Background in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery
  • Familiarity with Compensation & Pension exam standards
  • Certification in related specialties or additional training in disability evaluations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Prior experience conducting medical evaluations or assessments for federal agencies

Other Requirements:
  • Own office location within a 50-mile radius of designated sites in Lincoln and Lebanon, NH
  • Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) shifts
  • Willingness to complete necessary credentialing and training promptly
  • No travel reimbursements outside of rates; certifications are not reimbursed
  • Availability to perform one-time exams and administrative follow-up work

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $402.00, with additional bonuses for training completion and initial exams.
