Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or relevant specialties
- Experience with general medicine, compensation, and pension exams preferred
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adhere to standardized protocols and documentation requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with VA or military-related assessments
- Familiarity with medical reporting software and certification portals
- Ability to conduct virtual assessments or telehealth services
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine, family practice, or orthopedic surgery
- Previous involvement in compensation and pension evaluations is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius for locations requiring proximity to assigned areas or have own office setup for remote locations
- Ability to travel locally as needed, with travel expenses included in compensation rates
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Availability to work on a PRN basis, with flexible half-day or full-day shifts starting February 2, 2026
- No reimbursement for certifications or portal training outside of the specified rates
