If you own your own office and are committed to quality medical assessments, we want to hear from you.

You will complete exams either as half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts, and handle administrative follow-up work such as report submissions and addendums. This role is ideal for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine, especially those experienced in compensation and pension evaluations.

Required Skills:
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with authorization to practice in Kentucky
  • Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields
  • Strong assessment skills, including physical exam techniques
  • Excellent communication skills for interview-based evaluations
  • Ability to work independently and manage administrative tasks efficiently
  • Reliable access to your own office location within a 50-mile radius of Paducah, KY

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with veteran populations or government medical assessments
  • Familiarity with Compensation & Pension exam protocols
  • Prior work in military or veterans health services
  • Certification in relevant specialties or additional training in P & C evaluations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience, with a preference for those with expertise in general medicine or veterans’ assessments
  • Previous experience performing medical exams for government agencies or in a legal/forensic setting

Other Requirements:
  • Must own or have access to a dedicated office space within KY
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training and onboarding promptly
  • Administrative follow-up work, including report submissions, is essential
  • Local candidates only; travel costs are included in rates
  • This position does not reimburse for certifications or portal training

Earn a competitive hourly rate of $402.00, with flat rates of $600 for half-day exams and $1,200 for full-day assessments. A one-time bonus of $650 is offered for completing initial training and first exams. Enjoy weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, and coverage for licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable. Our dedicated team is committed to supporting your success every step of the way.
