HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our clinic in Highland, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights -Well established, growing practice. -Supportive Community with loyalty to HSHS -Group shared call -On-site access for labs, scans, and other needs through connection to HSHS --St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland -Many labs can be done within the clinic. Any needs the clinic cannot cover can typically be taken care of by the hospital within a patient's visit. Position Requirements -Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start -Board Certified, or Board Eligible -2+ years of provider work experience is preferred -Experience in primary care is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered. Position Details -Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of either working 4 or 5 days per week -No holidays or weekends -Minimal call - phone call only, no call time is spent coming into the clinic -EPIC EMR Compensation & Benefits Package -Base guarantee -Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly -CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year -Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses -Commencement bonus and relocation assistance both available
Education Qualifications
Education Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
- Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
- Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
- Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
- Federal DEA license is preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
