  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and credentialing requirements.
  • Flexibly work just half or full days (4-8 hours), with ongoing PRN assignments on a non-treatment basis.

Required Skills:
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Family or Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in general medicine, VA exams, or compensation and pension assessments.
  • Strong interview and physical assessment skills.
  • Ability to work independently in your own office setting.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience working with Veterans or within government healthcare programs.
  • Familiarity with VA-specific exam procedures and documentation.
  • Additional certifications related to military or veteran health evaluations.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Nurse Practitioner certification (MSN or DNP).
  • Minimum of 2+ years clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, or related specialties.
  • Experience in exam-based or evaluation-only roles is advantageous.

Other Requirements:
  • Own and operate a private office space within VA or nearby.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed; travel costs are included in the rate.
  • Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
  • Ability to perform exams on a PRN basis with ongoing availability.
  • No reimbursement for certifications or portal training prior to start.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $600 for half-day (4 hours or less) shifts; $1200 for full-day (5+ hours) shifts.
  • One-time bonus of $650 awarded after completing all required training and first exams.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.
  • Comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, paid sick time, and reimbursement for licensure, travel, and certifications where applicable.
  • Robust referral bonus program and dedicated support team committed to your success.
