Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine AR

We are seeking motivated General Medicine Providers to support critical Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification
  • Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or orthopedic surgery
  • Ability to perform interview-based assessments and some physical examinations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a designated office space
  • Willingness to travel locally within specified radius as needed

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with compensation and pension exams
  • Familiarity with Veterans Affairs (VA) procedures and requirements
  • Certification in specific assessments or medical evaluations
  • Additional language skills or cultural competence beneficial in diverse settings

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related specialties
  • Prior experience with government or VA-related evaluations is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Must own and have access to a dedicated office space in your local area
  • Ability to perform both half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) exams
  • Willingness to complete training, onboarding, and administrative documentation promptly
  • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
  • Must adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local laws regarding licensure and certification
  • Compensation & Pension exams involve no treatment, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing

This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $402.00, with flat rates for half-day and full-day shifts, along with a one-time bonus upon completion of initial training and exams. Local candidates are preferred, with travel included in the rates.
