Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or related general medicine
- Strong interview skills and physical assessment capabilities, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Ability to perform non-treatment exams efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with assessment documentation and report submissions
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with compensation and pension exams
- Knowledge of veteran healthcare protocols
- Prior work in telemedicine or remote assessment settings
- Certification in relevant specialties or additional medical certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or relevant specialty
- Prior experience in government or military healthcare evaluations is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must reside within specified radii of designated locations or have their own office space when required
- Availability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
- Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding processes promptly
- Local candidates only, with travel included in rates
- Commitment to timely report submission and administrative follow-up tasks
