SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health is seeking applicants for PRN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants. The position is at Saint Louis University Hospital. Duties include:

• Communicating with patients' primary care physicians to obtain relevant medical history information and to coordinate care with other providers
• Providing clinical support to patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Performing diagnostic tests such as blood work or urinalysis to monitor patient health and detect disease progression
• Performing physical examinations and conducting medical procedures, such as administering injections or drawing blood
• Educating patients about their diagnosis, treatment plan, and any lifestyle changes they need to make to improve their health
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner
• Performing diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRI scans, ultrasound scans, etc. to evaluate injuries or illnesses
• Educating patients about their condition, treatment options, and follow-up care plans
• Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times such as illness or injury
