SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Available
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No On-Call
CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30am to 5:00pm
COMPENSATION:
- $55 to $65 per Hour, dependent upon experience
- Malpractice Insurance
- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance

COMPANY PROFILE:
This organization is a private medical practice owned by an infectious disease physician with a specialization in travel medicine. They offer convenience in both location and scheduling, focusing on serving their patients’ medical needs surrounding international travel. Their services include, but are not limited to, international vaccination certifications, COVID-related services, patient counseling, and more.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new Nurse Practitioner will see an average of 15 to 20 patients per day. All work is within the area of travel medicine, physicals, and related medicine.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- provide medical advice as it pertains to travel
- provide pre- and post-travel physical exams and health certificates
- provide preventive pre-travel medical care
- administer immunizations to travelers according to CDC recommendations
- administer vaccines for school, work, and immigration travel purposes
- provide prescriptions for prevention of malaria, altitude illness, motion sickness, etc.
- consultation and care for patients with suspected infectious diseases or fevers
- consultation for patients with mysterious illnesses
- malaria testing
- COVID-19 testing
- blood testing
The practice uses an EHR and is all-digital.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Washington, DC NP license
- NP certification
- 6+ months advanced practice experience
