Description

Calling experienced APC's (with 2 or more years of experience) to join our Las Vegas, NM Primary Care team. We are seeking a skilled nurse practitioner to work in an outpatient family practice clinic. Christus St. Vincent is a mission-driven organization, focused on providing comprehensive care for the underserved communities of northern New Mexico.

The nurse practitioner will follow established standards, procedures, practices and evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists, order diagnostic and therapeutic services, provide preventative care to long-term patients, perform physical exams and prescribe medications as needed.

The clinic is located in Las Vegas, NM which is a city in San Miguel County established in 1835. Later in 1880, Las Vegas quickly became one of the largest cities in the American southwest. Since the decline of the railroad in the 1950's, the city's population has remained relatively constant. Las Vegas is a beautiful city rich in history, architecture and culture. It is situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and is home to generational farmers and cattle ranchers.

Practice Highlights:

  • Monday-Friday eight hour day work schedule, or four days per week, ten hour days
  • Family medicine provider call rotation, limited to telephone call only.
  • Patient volume about 16+ patients per day


Requirements
