Family Nurse Practitioner
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:00pm
- No Evenings
- No Weekends
- Minimal On-Call
COMPENSATION:
- $100,000 to $150,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- Malpractice Insurance w/ Tail Coverage

LOCATION:
Mansura, Louisiana
COMPANY PROFILE:
This compassionate, family-centered private practice has been serving the greater Mansura area for nearly 35 years, providing full scope primary care to patients from adolescents to geriatrics. They currently boast a provider staff of 2 physicians and 3 family nurse practitioners. Their services include, but are not limited to, full scope primary care, chronic condition management, basic skin procedures, and long-term care rounding (there is a separate provider staff dedicated to facilities). They have an in-house laboratory and full complement of support staff.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is an outpatient primary care position in a private practice, seeing patients from adolescents through geriatrics.
Providers conduct an average of 12 to 15 visits per day, allowing ample time to examine and counsel each and every patient.
All work is within the area of standard family medicine:
- adolescent primary care
- adult primary care
- geriatric primary care
- evaluation and management of a dedicated panel
- annual check-ups
- follow-up visits
- physicals
- vaccinations
- chronic condition management
- medication management
- minor sick / injury visits
The practice has an on-site laboratory, uses an EHR, and provides full clinical and administrative support for providers.
All providers share equally in the on-call schedule, which consists of low volume phone triage only.
The practice has a separate, dedicated staff of providers who see patients in nearby long-term care facilities. While it’s rare, occasionally clinic-based providers are asked to do visits with LTC patients when specific needs arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Louisiana NP license
- FNP certification
- DEA
- 1+ year relevant practice experience preferred
- candidates with less experience considered on an individual basis
