Adelphi is seeking a Family Practice certified Advanced Practice Nurse to provide medical services at a healthcare facility in Athens County, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in serving patients with mental illnesses.

Requirements:
• Ohio license as Registered Nurse
• Completion of advanced level practice nurse program for Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice
• Certification by Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice
• Certificate of Authority
• Certificate to Prescribe

Responsibilities:
• Provide medical care to patients at the healthcare facility under the approval of the Chief Clinical Officer.
• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments for acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor patients' medical progress and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Perform physical examinations on both patients and employees as required.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and refer patients for surgical consultations when necessary.
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
• Stay current with developments in primary care and family medicine through continuous education.
• Serve as a medical consultant to psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals at the facility.
• Collaborate with medical specialists to determine appropriate care or treatments for patients.
• Facilitate the admission, discharge, and readmission of patients referred for inpatient treatment at other facilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medical services rendered, including completion of medical evaluation forms, admission and discharge records, interpretation of laboratory reports, and clinical diagnostic findings.
• Provide instructions and medical records to nursing staff and other personnel as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
