UNC Health Rockingham currently has an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) opportunity for it's Occupational and Employee Health Clinic. This position provides employment-related medical evaluations for pre-employment, annual, return to work, and any other similar specialized type examinations. The provider will also assess, diagnose, treat and manage work-related injuries, exposures and illness. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Healthcare setting. Knowledge of NC Workers Compensation Knowledge of CDC guidelines for healthcare and OSHA regulations/standards Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of NC. Current Certification for Prescriptive Authority with DEA LicenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program. Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine or occupational health.
