Job Title: Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Location: Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center, Near Shiprock, NM

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient clinic team at Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a community-focused environment near Shiprock, NM, providing comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary care services, including diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions for all age groups.

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and treatments.

Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions.

Offer guidance on disease prevention and health promotion.

Maintain patient records with accurate notes on treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in family practice.

Qualifications

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Mexico.
Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in family practice or primary care settings preferred.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using medical tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the community.
