Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our established team in delivering exceptional care to patients in our 27 bed level III NICU on an unscheduled (per diem) basis. The NICU utilizes a Family Integrated Care (FIC) model where parents are educated and encouraged to participate in the care of their baby, with support from the interdisciplinary care team. Qualifications

-Hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon.
-Hold a current, unencumbered license by the Oregon Board of Nursing as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
-Current certification by the National Certification Corporation as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
-Maintenance of current NRP instructor certification
-Possess a Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing, or in a field deemed to be equivalent by the Oregon Board of Nursing.
-Satisfactory completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program recognized by the Oregon Board of Nursing specific to the expanded specialty in which privileges are being requested.
-Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate clinical experience as an NNP during the past 24 months or demonstrate successful completion of an accredited NNP program within the past 12 months.
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner preferred
