St. Luke's Health System Perioperative Clinic in Twin Falls, ID seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our highly collegial and patient focused clinic team. Our specialized perioperative clinic utilizes hospitalists and APPs to assess perioperative risk, optimize management of chronic medical problems perioperatively, and perform appropriate risk stratification when needed before surgery. Our patients receive extensive education about what complications could occur and what they can do to help minimize their risk. Our approach has reduced perioperative complications, same-day cancellations of surgery, and has helped streamline anesthesia care on the day of surgery. Opportunity exists for an APP to work a hybrid role in both the perioperative clinic and with the inpatient hospitalist team. JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Physician Assistant.Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
