NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Responsibilities:

We are currently accepting applications and referrals for a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in our clinic.

The NP works collaboratively with the Attending Psychiatrist and is responsible for the provision of compassionate and evidenced-based psychiatric care to patients.

There is also an opportunity for additional per diem (hourly) assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Master’s Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
  • Experience and training in the use of long acting psychotropic medication preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a NYS Nurse Practitioner with Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Familiarity with high-risk patients and cultural sensitivity in community settings.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire

Salary $130-132K
