Locums - Rochester, New York, Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner Opening

Clinical Role

• Start date: November 2, 2026
• 6-month contract
• Full-time preferred; will consider 2-3 weeks per month
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Board certification required

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• 8-9 hour shifts
• No evenings, weekends, or call
• Potential to float 1-2 days per week

Practice Setting & Patient Volume

• Outpatient endocrinology
• Low to moderate acuity
• Approximately 20-25 patients per day
• 15 exam rooms
• Majority of work involves diabetes care

Clinical Experience

• CGM analysis and insulin pump management experience preferred, but not required
• No additional procedures required

Support & Systems

• 5 providers
• 3 NPs
• 3 RNs
• 2 LPNs
• 6 CNAs/CMAs
• 4 additional staff members
• Epic EMR with AI ambient scribe

Requirements & Credentialing

• Active New York license in hand
• Epic experience required
• Life-saving certifications required
