Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive endocrine care to diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, perform examinations, and order necessary diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients and their families about management and lifestyle modifications.
- Flexibly float between sites as coverage demands, ensuring seamless patient care.
Required Skills:
- Valid and current PA or NP licensure in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in endocrinology or a strong foundational knowledge of endocrine disorders.
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to float between multiple sites.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with chronic disease management, including diabetes and metabolic disorders.
- Certification in endocrinology or specialized training in endocrine care.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in endocrinology or a related specialty.
- Demonstrated competence in patient education and chronic disease management.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel and float between multiple healthcare sites.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
