Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive diabetes care to patients in a virtual diabetes clinic
- Manage care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, including insulin titration and medication optimization
- Review patient charts, making appropriate recommendations and updates to treatment plans
- Conduct virtual patient examinations to assess general physical condition
- Counsel patients on disease management and provide guidance on diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications
Additional Information
- Experience with telehealth is required
- Must be comfortable working in a technology-driven environment
- Familiarity with Tidepool, Dexcom CGM, and telemedicine platforms preferred
- Required board certification: Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Licensure in MD, NY, PA, or VA is accepted
