JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• Licenses: Active New York RN License, Active New York Nurse Practitioner License, DEA with New York address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with New York address and schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, V; CSR if required by state
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS
• Experience: New graduates accepted; training provided
• Other Qualifications: Minimum 50 Category I CME credits in past 2 years, case logs for past 2 years, immunization requirements per facility

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in the ED under the supervision of attending physicians
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as required and within scope of practice
• Collaborate with nursing staff, APPs, and physicians to manage patient flow and ensure timely care
• Document patient encounters accurately in Meditech EMR
• Adhere to facility privileging requirements, infection control protocols, and continuing education standards
