Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Arkansas
Position Overview
Advanced practice emergency medicine coverage in a 32 bed emergency department with an annual volume of approximately 45,000 visits (medium acuity).
Level II Trauma Center.
EMR: Epic.
Schedule
12 hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Prior Emergency Medicine experience required (documentation and case logs required).
NP: Active, unrestricted Arkansas NP license; active Arkansas DEA/CDS with Arkansas address; prescriptive authority; AANP or ANCC board certification.
PA: Active, unrestricted Arkansas PA license; active Arkansas DEA/CDS with Arkansas address; NCCPA board certification.
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required.
Two years of case logs and two years of CME/CEU documentation required.
Supervising physician assignment required.
COVID, TB, Flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap requirements apply.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
