• Ability to work independently as a locum tenens NP and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform rapid patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate evidence-based treatment plans
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
• Participate in trauma care, rapid response, and stabilization of critically ill patients as needed
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with ED physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate patient care and follow-up
