TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with upcoming Emergency Department coverage. This locum role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work in a supportive community-based hospital setting.
New providers must be available for a brief orientation the day prior to their first scheduled shift. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialing is complete.

Position Details
Inpatient only – candidates must have Emergency Department inpatient experience within the last 12 months
Established team of physicians and APPs providing coverage
Average ED volume: ~80 patients per day
Average admissions: ~11 per day
Total inpatient census: ~47 acute patients
Provider responsible for responding to codes
Specialty consultation available
Transfers supported by ground and air services
System-wide EMR: EPIC
No call responsibilities

Primary Stroke Center designation
Offers general medical/surgical services and cancer infusion services
Requirements
Active and unrestricted North Carolina license with NC DEA
BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications (AHA only)
Minimum of 12 months recent ED inpatient experience required
Must be comfortable with Emergency Department coverage

Seeking providers interested in 6–12 shifts per month
