Coverage Needed
- March 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026
- Schedule: Full-time Night Shift (3, 12-hour shifts weekly, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- No On-Call
Clinical Details
- Specialty: Critical Care Advanced Practice
- Setting: Multi-specialty medical-surgical community hospital ICU
- Typical APP to patient ratio: 10-15 ICU patients per APP
- EMR: Cerner
- Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, collaborating with attending MDs, conducting patient assessments, ordering and documenting in Cerner EMR, interpreting diagnostic tests, communicating with ICU nursing staff, participating in multi-disciplinary rounds, and performing invasive procedures such as central and arterial line insertions
Requirements
- Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with valid national and state licensure
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ICU setting
- Proficiency with ICU procedures, specifically central and arterial line insertions
- ACNP candidates must be Acute Care Certified
- Case logs will be requested during credentialing
