🏥✨ Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA — Day Shift Opportunity

📍 Mt Pleasant, MI

🩺 Facility Setting

Hospital Emergency Department • Provisional Level IV Trauma Center

⏰ Schedule & Coverage

🕚 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
📅 Ongoing coverage beginning January 2026
🗓 Coverage needed across both weekdays & weekends

👩‍⚕️ Role Highlights

⭐ Provide autonomous patient care with a physician on-site for consultation
⭐ Average ~20 patients per day
⭐ 25-bed ED with approx. 20,000 annual visits
⭐ Work alongside a collaborative team including full-time & PRN APPs
⭐ EMR: Cerner
⭐ ED supports house codes & hospital admissions handled primarily by Hospitalists
⭐ Radiology, Lab, OR, and specialists available 24/7

✅ Requirements

🔹 Board-Certified NP or PA
🔹 Extensive Emergency Medicine experience required
🔹 Active Michigan license
🔹 DEA
🔹 ACLS & PALS
🔹 Local candidates only
🔹 Clean background
