Join a dynamic emergency department as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a Level 3 ER setting. Provide care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with support from attending physicians available 24/7. This locum tenens position offers varied shifts and assignments, allowing you to work independently in a dedicated 10-bed fast track area.

Job Responsibilities - Independently manage patient care within the fast track area - Collaborate with attending physicians for case reviews and guidance - Participate in the department’s varied shift structure to maintain optimal coverage - Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
Qualifications - Board Certified Nurse Practitioner - Current Michigan License (no exceptions or IMLC accepted) - ACLS and ATLS certification - Minimum two years of recent emergency department experience - Must have a clean background for quick credentialing - Required immunizations: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid Documentation, TB, TDAP
Working Hours - Varied shifts, predominantly 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM - Maximum coverage during peak hours with resident and physician collaboration
Skills - Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine - Ability to work independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment - Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner - Excellent collaboration and communication skills with medical team
