Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room NP or PA to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The provider will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions, working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illness or injury.

Perform procedures within the scope of practice and state regulations.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.

Collaborate with emergency physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers for optimal patient care.

Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

Document patient encounters accurately and in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited PA program.

Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Valid state license and DEA registration.

Experience in emergency medicine preferred.

Strong clinical, procedural, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:

Hospital-based emergency department.
-
May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Exposure to high-acuity and critical care patients.
